"Treat yourself to a couple of minutes of feeling good. These babies are wearing hearing aids, and for the first time they're hearing what is being said to them."

I wanted to show my wife this but maybe a larger, better quality video and I may have found the mother of the first kid shown's orig. Youtube post. It's got a few extra seconds on it.
The kid is absolutely in the moment and his emotional changes are just all over his face. The kid cant be more than 3 months old, if that. This much true interaction at that age is amazing to me.

I found the Twitter clip on a news website and, after watching it, remember thinking I don't really like the Twitter format and that I should search for a better video, but I was in a bit of a time crunch and posted what I found.. so thanks for taking the time to search for and post that clip with the additional video.
I couldn't agree more, the emotions and wonder on those babies' faces as they hear sounds for the first time plainly show how vital the sense of hearing is to learning, perceiving and being human. Our senses are miracles we take for granted; each one enhancing and complimenting the others, and I'm amazed at how hearing sounds for the first time so quickly captivated and enriched those babies' tiny worlds.
