Or, perhaps, something as simple as privacy. Just because she is the head of DHS shouldn’t give us the right to know everything about her medical history.

Or, even if she wanted the public to know, “allergic reactions” more often than not take a bit of time to identify the culprits. And frequently, the culprit remains unidentified, despite testing. So, folks need to understand that and not expect the culprit to be announced the moment the patient gets to the hospital.

I had just read the Anne Burrell thread which listed no cause of death so I was feeling incomplete and wanting more info is all.

It's possible they don't know. I'm allergic to something that sent me to the ER and could be fatal if exposed again. I have no idea what it is and carry epipens just in case.

I was speculating someone knew she has a food allergy and tried to poison her.
