Remembering Arnold Palmer _______________________________________________________ despite them

His Royal Hiney |
Thanks for posting. I either forgot or didn't know he died. that's sad. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Staring back from the abyss |
Thank you so much for posting this. I missed the opening...which is unusual. As a young fella, I met Arnold Palmer once when he came through our little town and played a round at our course. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I'm a proud Private in Arnie's Army. There is nothing like the game of golf. Rest in peace Mr. Palmer. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.
