The mixed income apartments built near me are truly mixed. Many of the tenants do actually go to work. The place is kept presentable but that’s not hard when it’s new. The smell of pot smoke abounds and I would image all of the related drugs and selling of the same is going on.
People chose a nice area to live with a nice homogenous group of similar minded folks. The government has no business actively bringing in folks who have instead chosen to be a problem that everyone else is trying to avoid. Ghettos aren’t built, they are created by the lifestyle of those who live there.

The write-up gives some humorous insight into the 'outrage' ....by both sides. Left and Lefter-er

Once those residents move in, they'll be complaints about 'racism' and how people in the neighborhood 'look down on them'.

Then there will be complaints that the nearby grocery markets are too expensive so, we need a more affordable retailer like Grocery Outlet or, a Food 4 Less to open instead of another office building full of financial advisory firms, accountants and tax lawyers.
