if it happened in Germany in terms of US assets supposedly getting the servers, then the posse comitatus act doesn't apply. The problem I see is I don't put much hope in the people that Trump has around him. So even if the servers are in US hands, it's up in the air whether the ones who have the servers are good or bad actors.
