Home owners are so unreliable, especially in Paying.

32 years being a contractor and I have heard a million excuses why they wont pay. so it goes both ways.


You are the exception. It was pulling teeth to even get someone to come out and give us a quote. and we had a good chunk of work, about $15k worth with more depending on how they performed on the first part.

Finally after three months of even trying to get someone to show up, he started a month late, and had every excuse there was. Then he took longer than expected, and didn't do a great job.

We decided to hold off on any more work because it was such a pain.



Why cant You be the exception ?? there are plenty of non paying customers and people looking at nothing but the price, then wonder why no one wants to do it. they also complain when the work goes bad.


There are plenty of great contractors that just want to make a fair deal.

My wife can FU with the best of them when the situation warrants it . She also has enough class to know the difference . Yours jumped the gun . I hope by now you payed the man and moved on .

Been on both sides, earning a a contractor, and empoying contractors for a living.

It's all about people, but sux when it's unreliable, unreasonable, unconscionable people.

Same excuses, same weak bullshit and just as wearinging on both sides.

Funny, how it is always "the other guy" that is the asshole, and never "us".

Yeah, sometimes the asshole is me.

All I can do is try my best to not be that guy tomorrow.

And try and give the next guy the benefit of the doubt.
