Indeed! Seems like yesterday I was counting down to retirement. Recently had 76 trombones blown to celebrate my 76th.  Happy birthday 6guns!I'm fortunate with Medicare and Tricare For Life to cover my needs. I am very thankful for Medicare. It was quite a decision to make, but all's going well with it so far. Started Oct 1 of course. I get the having a different perspective, especially at this very unique time in our history. We are living in an incredible time. Same here. I turned 65 in August and the deadline to sign up is getting closer. I'll be drawing SS in January, with the first payout Feb. 21st. | |||

I filed for Medicare earlier this month, and got the card in the mail yesterday. Now waiting for my retirement plan to move me to a supplement plan from a full plan. | |||

Happy Birthday! I hit 65 in September, but I'm still working full time with benefits, so no medicare for me yet.
