highroundcountAnyone here use BlueStacks Android tablet emulator for PC and MAC? Do you like it?
System specs: Lenovo ThinkPad E560
I7-6600-u (2 core hyper-threaded for 4 cores total)
16GB ram
Radeon R7 M370 2GB gaphics
1TB SSD Windows 7 pro
Was looking for an Android tablet emulator a couple of years ago so I could play some simple games with friends and family. Ran across this program. Ran terrible on my current machine but then was upgraded to 4.xxxxx.
Now its silky smooth, especially for the free (adds) version. I have it set to use my dedicated graphics, a couple of cores, and a bunch of ram.
So far runs like a champ and I've played some cross platform games with friends and family.
Runs my android/IOS only security camera software and seems well supported.
I have a bit of experience with emulators such as DOSBOX, VMWARE running different versions of Linux (currently installed) and VitualBox.
This software seems to have matured into a very nice piece of software and I was just curious if anyone else has had a chance to run it.

bigdealI run it on my Lenovo laptop to run my Wyze camera software in, so I don't have to use my cellphone to check in the cameras at the house during the day. Seems to work fine, just slow to load and unload.
