Frangas non Flectes
| Well, like Airsoftguy, I’m also keeping an eye on our impending state mag ban. However, I won’t be buying mags for stuff I don’t own. It would be smart, but I can’t think of anything I would stock up on that would take standard capacity mags. I’m also not in a blind panic to buy magazines, because a magazine ban in 2022 is going to be about impossible to enforce, and I don’t plan to comply with it in the first place. What are they gonna do? Take you to court over your pile of AR and Glock mags and prove you didn’t own them before the law went into effect? Please.

| Only time I bought mags for a gun I didn’t own was when I was activated for Katrina as a member of the National Guard and issued an M9 but the arms room ran out of magazines. So I bought 2 factory Beretta mags at a local gun store. Bothered my a little but they are way more reliable than the Checkmate ones often issued and I took them on both a deployment to A-stan and Iraq so I’ve gotten my $’s worth out of them. At some point I need to got a Wilson or LTT G model to go with my mags.

Sure it's incredibly unlikely that The Man is gonna come down on my for my stendo clips and Garys, but I also wont be able to just order more if something happens to the ones I do have, unless I want to drive down to Oregon or over to Idaho. quote: Originally posted by Will938: If you don't become a screen writer for comedy movies, then you're an asshole. |

| No mags for unowned guns, but I do have about 600 rounds of ammo I've purchased for an M1 Garand that I've never gotten around to purchasing.

| IMO; nothing wrong with buying mags for handguns or rifles you may own in the future. |

The cake is a lie!
| I buy mags and parts for guns that I most likely will own. Usually that's what kick starts me into actually getting those guns. |

| I was buying Scar 20 mags for a couple years before I finally got one! All my gun buddies thought I was crazy, lol

When someone tries to kill you, it doesn't matter how they are doing it. You're in mortal danger, and it's time to try to kill them back.

We should be carpet bombing these barbarians wherever we find them, and we should be looking for them 24/7. We have to unleash Hell upon them. | I admit I picked up a vintage Colt Woodsman magazine at an estate sale a few years ago. It was just sitting there by itself, all alone.
My father had a pair back in the day and they were fun, accurate little pistols. I don't own one (and it's unlikely I can swing one in the immediate future - I.E. priorities) but just seeing that magazine in the safe takes me to my happy place. |

| I have mags for guns I don’t own but plan too. I don’t mean one or two. I lived through the ban back in the day. I won’t be burned like that ever. I have mags for my kids so they won’t be burned either. |
