NHL.TV.....anyone else subscribe?

I've been an NHL.TV/Gameday/CenterIce subscriber for quite a number of years. I got an e-mail a week or so ago saying something about the upcoming season being streamed on ESPN+...I guess instead of NHL.TV??? The e-mail wasn't exactly the most comprehensive, and it didn't say anything about my current NHL subscription being cancelled.

I guess I'm going to have to subscribe to ESPN+ if I want to watch out-of-market games all season? I assume the subscription I had with NHL.TV is going to be cancelled and not auto-billed?? I don't recall getting an e-mail explaining ANY of this. I just don't want to open my CC bill and SURPRISE!!...charges for both NHL and ESPN+.

Any other subscribers here that could help clear this up?? Thanks!!

Yeah, looks like the old NHL TV will only be outside the US and Canada now. I had to poke around the site for a few minutes to figure it out. I highly doubt there will be any new charges since there is no package for US viewers anymore, but on the off chance you do get charged for something should be easy to dispute.

Everything is now on ESPN+. The good is it's cheaper, 69.99 for a year which about half of what NHL TV was and you get everything on ESPN not just hockey. Of course the bad is we're giving money to ESPN, and that just makes me feel dirty. Plus, pun maybe intended, I only watch hockey so I don't really care about all the other sports on there. You'll see this when you go to sign up - they have a bundle for Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for 13.99 a month. We, as in my wife, already had Hulu and Disney so it was a no-brainer to just add ESPN for the bundle price. I love the NHL, and I suppose overall going (back) to ESPN is good for the league but it just makes me worry about the leftist social justice agenda being injected into hockey even more than it already has.
