The magic of SIGforum
Today my Brother color laser printer gave me the “drum error, slide the green tab” error. So I took out the 4 toner cartridges, one at a time, slid the green tab over and back a couple times each. I put the toner back in and shut the lid only to get the drum error. Over and over.

I took the cartridges out and cleaned them with isopropyl. Drum error. Ugh!

I tried five or six more times. Drum error.

I posted about it here in the Lounge and as soon as I hit the “Post Now” button the printer started printing the queue. Big Grin I went ahead and deleted the post but thank you for the help anyway. LOL

Damn! I took a nap this afternoon so I slept through the waves of euphoria from the forum pixie dust that solved this, and no doubt other, issues today. Big Grin

The Lounge works for office equipment but should I post in the Lair for things like TVs and What’s Your Deal for really bad, swear words worthy stuff like lawnmowers and cars?
