BMRTruly Inspiring - Spanish runner with cerebral palsy completes Barcelona Marathon
In this day of constant demands of pity for "victims" of the smallest things, it is great to see such a man. Short video embedded in article.
From the article:
He told Spanish media El Mundo before the race that he wanted to send a message to the world. “The limit is up to you, and if you want to achieve an objective, whatever difficulties you have, with attitude, willpower, perseverance and resilience, you can achieve everything you propose. And if you do not achieve it, you will have given everything and must feel gratified.”

Russ59That is impressive.
Training for and completing a marathon is something few abled-bodied people would sign up for. Kudos to him for setting the bar high. I've completed dozens of marathons and it can be grueling and the recovery rather painful. I can't imagine with an awkward gate and stride how much more difficult and painful it would be.
Again, my hat's off to the young man.
