Lion is snacking on a large doe. Her boyfriend, a large buck, has been hanging out near the carcass. Monday night my neighbor heard lots of yapping from Coyotes. Tuesday during the day he went out to see if he could find anything. He found the carcass and setup a game camera. While he was setting up the camera the buck was about 10 feet from it, and would not move. We suspect the lion got the doe Monday night, the coyotes tried to scare the lion off. He probably left when he was full. No sign of coyotes Tuesday night, just the lion. | |||
