It's not exactly in the middle of nowhere, but yes.

We did move an unairworthy C-130 used for training by a battle damage assessment school, across the country, by flying it out. Most of the work was carried out on ladders during a hurricane, too. Engines, props, and enough structural work to get it on a ferry permit and move it.

This one won't be flying out.

Recently while doodling around on Youtube I came across a company named SOAR dot aero, out of california.

I'm certainly no expert on aircraft repairs, or recoveries, but these guys seem to respond almost immediatley when called and get the job done, pretty much anywhere in the world.

Their Youtube is SOAR.aero as well as their website.

I found it very interesting, especially when others have had no success doing what needs to be done, even repairing on site.
