Anyone Else Feel Alarmed?

Been watching and reading a lot about potential counter-cyberattacks after the presumptive heavy strikes on Iran after mid terms. Although Iran's nuke program is hundreds of feet under solid granite, I can't fathom Trump using tactical nukes. Whether he does or doesn't, I am seeing many predictions of cyber attacks on water and power grids. I believe I am prepared for either, but curious if others have predictions for the next week or so.

I agree the nuke option is near impossible without global chastisement and ultimate loss of the USD monetary policy.

I am getting close, but not totally out of fucks to give about survival.

It's an election cycle. Scare tactics, skewed statistics, one-sided "reporting" and outright bullshit are the order of the day.

I can't seem to convince my wife of this but her normal mindset is doom and gloom so it's not surprising.

Time will tell. Sure hope I am wrong about what the algorithms are feeding me. No desire to go through another 19 days without power post Helene. That taught me a valuable lesson, so I am likely tainted.

Thanks for negating my immediate concerns. Sure hope you guys are right. Will cease to warn my family and employees to prep for current unknowns, but I'm still not stopping to prep for the long term.

Perhaps start ignoring “the feed”?

Worrying about grid disruptions is like worrying about cancer. May happen one day but do you want to waste your days away worrying about something that you can’t do a thing about? And there’s no “preparing” for a long term disruption. Unless you can party like it’s 1883 your supplies won’t last or will be stolen.
