Excellent! Some key factors I believe have helped achieve these high mileage vehicles. Overdrive transmissions were not common 50 plus years ago. At 70 mph in my 1969 GTO it would be working at 3175 RPM. My 2006 GTO at 70 mph is just over 1900rpm. Changing the oil frequently (3000 miles) is a plus. 300k is the goal for my 2005 Impala. It's currently at 271k.

I’m right there with GTO in my 2007 Accord with 271+K miles. I donated my previous Accord (1993) with 258K miles. I’m hoping this one will go 325 to 350K. Do the maintenance and don’t put it off. Your car will appreciate it. *** "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam (I will either find a way or make one)." -- Hannibal Barca

Call it what you want, but I’ve still got 300K miles on it.
I had an ’01 briefly, and sold it to a good friend. I bought it at 100K, sold it to her, and she put another 130K on it. I nearly bought it back from her when she got ready to trade. I like the body on the R51 (2005-2012) and the 4-liter engine, but the fuel economy kinda stinks (even relative to R50).
Love the VQ!
Honestly, it’s dealer-serviced. I really like my dealer’s service group, and they’re just a couple of miles from my house – it’s just convenient, and not horribly expensive. They can do the service way quicker than I can, and I don’t have to spend another hour cleaning up the mess. I switched to synthetic oil at about 30K miles, using Castrol Syntec. Recently they switched their in-stock oil to Mobil 1, and I switched with them. I usually get it changed at about 7-8k miles, and use the Nissan filter. For other service items, I’ve simply followed the guide in the back of the manual (up to the first 100K), and kept things routine from that point.
Exactly.

Absolutely right. On the "good ole days" cars if you got to 100,000 miles you were very lucky. Probably rusted out first. Now a used car with 90 - 100,000 miles with reasonable care has got another 100,000 in it.

Awesome, nicely done. That vehicle doesn't owe you anything. I just passed 240k on my '04 Ram CTD. Hoping to get 500k out of it. Foster's, Australian for Bud

Congratulations, that is a worthy milestone. My 2003 Pilot had 335,000 when I got rid of it. The last pic I have of the odometer was 333,333 Niech Zyje P-220 Steve

I sure hope my truck makes it to 300K. I just hit 130K in my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71. NRA Benefactor Life Member

I like the way you stated that. If it quit on me tomorrow, I would have no room to fuss. I would fuss, of course, but I shouldn't much. When I bought it, I told my sales guy, "we're going to 300,000." He laughed at me and said something to the effect of, "yeah, right," thinking I wouldn't keep it that long. He's long since retired, but I think he lives in the next town over. I'd like to look him up and drive over for a visit. This vehicle has been with me through thick and thin and back again, taken me to places I wasn't sure I'd reach, and gotten me and several friends home when the weather turned really nasty really quickly. We've towed, hauled, and run hard. Bikes, kayaks, dogs, guns, lumber, coolers... my goodness! Several years ago a young driver ran a stop sign and we collided. No one was hurt, but her car was pushed across the intersection. Pathfinder suffered a broken grille and headlight, and a wrinkled fender and hood. As I picked pieces of plastic up off the road I realized that the engine hadn't stalled in the event. It just sat there idling, as smoothly as always, waiting for our next adventure. (And a trip to the body shop.) As loyal as my dog, and a few years older. God bless America.
