Understandable but frustrating, mis-governance by elected representatives and their poor policies, has resulted in the entire food service chain to either close, be woefully understaffed or, scrapping by with new, unfamiliar staff. Not all but, a lot of the places that I used to patronize, sandwich shops, lunch places, even food trucks...their dishes aren't the same or, a bit off. They can't get the same produce or, ingredients as before, they've been forced to alter their menus due to the limitations, knowledgable staff have moved-on/left because of the stoppage.

I might add ... I don't always do better than a restaurant but I like trying.
If I fail then I learn something and try again.

On the other hand sometimes the motive for eating out is just to have someone wait on you (other than the wife) Smile and to have an experience .
