Ok, this is deserving of its own thread. During huddle last night at work, we had the big screen in the break room on local news and this played. The female anchor exclaimed, "I don't know why he is doing that." To which every guy in the room simultaneously yelled at the tv,

"BECAUSE HE CAN!"

Yes, the commercial at the beginning and the guy's narration sucks, but it really is worth watching. This guy can now claim vindication for every dollar he's spent upgrading his Jeep..

Would have been better if they guy actually used his jeep in the earthquake, not riding coat tails a thousand miles away.

Oh yeah I've got all this cool stuff on my pristine Jeep that has never been off road, now lets show a video of an Old Ass Legit Jeep driving over a busted up road.

I think any 4x4 pickup could do that, it's uneven paved road, all you need is ground clearance.

My 85 runner could have chewed that 'course' up. Jeeps do have a better angle of approach and departure tho. ;D

I would like to have seen him go up the second drop of in the video.

The trick is never go anywhere where you can't go back thru to get out and home.

Downhill is always easier then going uphill or up a drop off.

Not impressed.
