Baroque Bloke![]() |
Until a few months ago i was on the T-Mobile “Magenta” plan. $50/mo got me unlimited everything, except unthrotled 5G Hotspot data was limited to 5 GB/mo. After 5 GB, unlimited Internet access, but with a severely throttled rate. 5GB was slightly less than I needed, so I checked with T-Mobile and was told of their “Go5G 55” plan. Identical to the “Magenta” plan except: * $55/mo (only $5 more) * 15 GB/mo of unthrottled 5G data (rather than 5 GB/mo) A big win for me. I suspect that the “55” part means that the plan is available only to folks 55 or over. Serious about crackers | ||

I switched from at&t to T-Mobile a couple of years ago. I can't believe the difference. I can actually speak to someone who speaks English whenever I call customer service. Overall, I've been very happy with T-Mobile. I currently have the older grandfathered Magenta® MAX 55+ plan with 4 lines. It is now called "Go5G Next 55". I pay $45 per line which is a great deal. Comparing plans, the only difference I see is 40GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data instead of 50GB.
