At least the Air Force can take combat aircraft "in the air".

The Space Farce only exists in a simulator.

That is the saddest formation I’ve seen in a while. Check out the front row. They aren’t even on the same foot. That is ignoring that retarded made for a sci fi channel show looking uniform. That platoon had better be able to code like mother fuckers because in any physical confrontation I’m betting on the other team. Any other team.

Wow! They already got ribbons to pin on their uniforms. Red Face

It appears the entire file in the left of the picture is out-of-step.

Basic Training ribbon (blue) and at least one has a Markmanship Ribbon (green). Air Force has the exact same decs.

And, yeah, that one entire column is out of step. Air Force never could march well, so I wouldn’t expect more from Space Force.

At least they didn't give them rifles to march with. Roll Eyes

A few have a marksmanship ribbon. I guess most of them bolo'd.

The sentiments of replies here show just how out of touch the US populace is with the reasons for having a dedicated military service for protection of the space domain.

Let me say it for those in the back row; China is kicking our ass and is on pace to have dominance in space over the west (they likely already do).

Our entire economy is based on American hegemony and dominant role in space. Food doesn't get delivered without GPS; consider how fragile the supply chain is already (less than 30 days reserves of foodstuffs).

I can't speak for other members, but I totally support a separate Space Force.

The goofy uniforms? Not so much.

The U.S. Space Force’s new service dress uniform made its official debut on Dec. 18, when the service’s latest crop of basic training graduates donned the attire.

The ceremony, held at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, marks the first time trainees were authorized to wear the service dress uniform instead of prototypes...

In a physical confrontation they'll be calling the Space Marines. Cool

Roll Eyes Nobody needs lecturing on this. Does it mean they have to look ridiculous?

Frankly, although I can't prove it, this has the feel of a parody. Where are the sources for these pictures?
