83v45magnaThe ridiculous US space force Uniform cover for generals...
I have just seen this for the first time this morning. This thing looks like it came from a bad 1970's 'futuristic' TV movie.
I realize this is for the grand poobah, director of space force operations. Still, it's bizarre.
This begs to be widely lampooned.
What the hell?

Chief of Space Operations or CSO. As someone who's briefed two VCSO's and hired the former Director of Current Operations at USSF HQ, yes, a bit over the top but not their daily uniform. In fact, I've never seen that cover in person.

snorisFor those of us who remember the cartoon serials from the '60s, this looks like Scott McCloud Space Angel's dress uniform hat.

scratchySadly, that cover is for real. It looks more like a banana republic designed it.

More like a B-rated 1950s B&W sci-fi movie.

They are NOT Air Force; they are SPACE FORCE, and they won’t let you forget it.
This is what “Star Fleet” would be if it was a “real” military organization, instead of some Hollyweird SciFi creation. Oh wait, it is pretending to be real.
