Hard to believe it has been 21 years.Bartman had to move change his number and received threats fro years. Karen has no idea of the consequences.

The Cubs gave Bartman a World Series ring.

My daughter made it on camera at game in a foul ball incident. She came out of the concourse into the stadium holding a beer in each hand. A foul ball landed right in front of her on the concrete steps. It was right behind the last row of seats on the lower level and far enough out of reach for the upper level folks in the front row so no one was lunging for it. She calmly walked by the ball never spilling a drop. That video could exist somewhere on the www.

Someone told me later the announcer made a comment like now there's a girl whose daddy raised her right!

I had heard that.It was the fans who made him go underground. One of the networks traveled to the Dominincan Republic to see if Alou held a grudge.
It was a smart move to give Bartman a ring.Fans can get pretty heated in these situations.

Well those beers are now like 18 bucks each so I would have done the same thing. Waste 36 dollars in beer to try and get a ball or just keep walking?

I’m quite surprised she still hasn’t been identified, what with her face clearly exposed to the whole world. That millionaire douchebag who snatched the baseball cap (intended for that little boy) out of the hand of the tennis player’s hand was outed overnight.

He was a Millionaire with lots of social media presence personally and he owned a large company well known in Poland, that makes it a bit easier.

She could just be a homebody Karen with little social media presence.

Someone will find her eventually...

Getting in another guys face and getting heckled and flipping everyone one off says a ton about this broad (Para's term). She is a real piece of work and is about to be personally shredded is my guess. If the guy sitting next to her is a boy friend or husband he is most likely planning to jettison himself from the scene I would hope.

The rabid nature of fandom made this incident very ugly and every party simply poured gas on the fire. Mosis Alou's little tantrum helped sparked the outrage, Fox Sports commentators poured gas onto the fire by zooming-in on Bartman between every break in the action, the dunk-crazies all kept pointing at him and the asshole-chant kept up for several innings before he was escorted out, never mind that there was several others who were involved but none looked as homely as Steve Bartman. I recall a bunch of politicians attempting to tongue-in-cheek their comments that Bartman should seek-out the witness-protection program; politicians commenting about sports to show their fan bonafides never works well.
Very ugly for an unfortunate incident...this women is much more deserving of such scorn for her poor behavior on a legitimate loose ball situation.

I keep thinking of this scene from Big. Now that would've been funny!

I suspect she is laying real low, took emergency leave from work, dyed her hair, switched eyeglass frames, etc. But she's not a cipher, people know her, and given her personality, someone will give up her to the web.

There was an interview with the Dad and his son and one of the questions was something like "Will you accept the ball back along with an apology from this woman if she comes forward?"

The Dad kinds of shrugs and says something to the effect of "Well, she seemed to be the kind of person we all know this is never happening...so"

I said YEP! That's it, this woman will NEVER admit she was wrong and NEVER apologize. We all know that type too.

Unless she is legit mentally ill and the person with her was her caretaker, I really want her outed and humiliated for her actions.

Local media could make some hay by advertising her photo with a reward for information.

With that personality she's done this sort of thing before, not with a baseball, but parking spot, toy on a shelf at Target, food service, neighbor's..

Someone she's crossed will eventually let her information out and they will feel glorious for outing her... A big middle finger back at her

There's gotta be a teenager who knows who this individual is: friends of friends, my mom knows her, etc... Kids can't keep their yap shut and it'll eventually come out.

I had season tickets for professional hockey and caught lots of pucks over the years. I always gave them to kids who attended. The look on their faces was priceless. I still have a few gathering dust at my house. THey are the right size for doorstops.

I went to a Phillies game back in April with my FIL and my two boys and they both brought their gloves for foul balls. One came over us and was caught about 5 rows back. As the game ended this older man walks down to us and handed my younger son the ball and he was so happy "Look Dad! Our guy hit it SO HARD he wiped the logo right off the ball!" It's like a treasured item to him now.
