FenrisLid for Stargazer Braiser
If anyone is looking for a cast iron lid for the new Stargazer Braiser, may I suggest the Lodge 13.25 Inch Cast Iron Skillet Lid for $41.95, SKU: L12SC3.
https://www.lodgecastiron.com/...-iron-lid?sku=L12SC3It is a perfect fit.
Plus, it has basting dimples. You gotta to love that.

jgerge222You would think that Stargazer could have included a coupon for a free lid since we waited over TWO YEARS to receive the paid for Braisers!

We would have had to wait another two years as they struggled to produce a lid at scale.
I'm glad to finally get the braiser, but now find myself probably not needing one this big so much as the boys are working or going to school away from home.

jgerge222Fenris : Is the weight of the Braiser, a cast iron lid, and the contents manageable for an old curmudgeon? Such as myself, not insinuating that you are one.

One handed? Not manageable at all.
Two handed with oven mitts? Not too bad. But I haven't tried lifting it when full either.
Stargazer makes their pans thinner (and lighter) than comparable sized pans from Lodge.
