Didn't he once jump a bunch of garbage cans in Arnold's parking lot as well?

It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

I don't know what was crazier - jumping the shark or letting Ritchie drive the boat. Big Grin

I was on Hippie Hill in Houston’s Hermann Park for some Theater Under the Stars production when they played a trailer for the up and coming TV show, “Happy Days.” I was just a kid, but I thought a show based on teenagers from the ‘50’s was the coolest idea.

I watched the show, as many others had, but I stopped along the way. It lost its charm, for me, way before Arthur Fonzerelli ever “jumped the shark.” Also, I was probably out and about during that time of my life, not caring anyway.

I was boating with my buddy in Narragansett Bay and saw a 165' Trinity named "Imagine" that I was told was owned by Ron Howard. It's a far cry from the Master-craft ski boat ...

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

The show actually hung on for seven more seasons. Not even Ted McGinley could salvage its last couple. Big Grin https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pm.../Creator/TedMcGinley

Fascinating. I never knew where that expression came from.

“ One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. … Against stupidity we are defenseless. … [R]easons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one's prejudgment simply need not be believed … and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside ….”
