Last night our ‘ol pup decided it was his time. After 15 good years he went quickly. His heath had been declining this last year and we knew he was on borrowed time. I got a clue something was up when he went outside and laid on the side of the house that he never goes on. We got to say goodbye. We tried to get him to the vet in time to help him but he ended up passing away in the parking lot, quiet and peacefully. He was the most stubborn dog I’ve ever met but had the best personality. He is the dog I will judge all other dogs against. He will be missed.

Situation awareness is defined as a continuous extraction of environmental information, integration of this information with previous knowledge to form a coherent mental picture in directing further perception and anticipating future events. Simply put, situational awareness mean knowing what is going on around you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Wish I could say something that will help but words just don't hold weight in these cases.

He is resting now, was a good dog and was loved.
He was a blessing and will be missed by those that loved him.

Sorry to hear.

Stubborn like like his ole man?

My wife has used that phrase with my ole' girl more than once Wink

Sounds like he was a great mate. You will continue your journey with him having a unique and special place in your heart.

Very sorry for your loss. 15 good years giving and receiving love and a peaceful passing. About as good as one could wish. They are never here long enough.
