Let's see. I was a jerk, screwed another passenger because of my arrogant superiority, that other passenger was miffed, so I will call her a racist.

rscalzoTaxpayers footing the bill for the 1st. class seat?
Love this one from back in 2011. She puts her foot in her mouth again. they should replay this comment every time she opens her mouth.

A Democratic congresswoman has suggested lawmakers are blocking President Obama's attempt to raise the debt ceiling because he is black.
In an angry address on the House floor, Shelia Jackson Lee attacked other negotiators for treating the president 'disrespectfully' during tense deficit talks at the White House this week.

flashguyIt is an embarrassment to sane Texans that SJL is even in the Congress. She, however, represents a sector of Houston that is virtually all "entitled" Black folk and there is virtually no chance anyone else can take her place. She may actually be one of the better products of that environment, sad to say.

I used to live in the Houston Heights which is a gentrified portion of her district. Even in the gentrified portion the homeowners tended to be conservatives, but there was a lot of rentals occupied by young recent college graduates. The rest of her district geographically matches HPD's crime heat map.
It didn't matter who the R's ran as SJL could kill a puppy on TV and still get 70% of the votes.
My buddy's family were long-term residents and the scary thing is that she is actually an improvement over her predecessor who was ousted when they started publishing absentee rate of Congressional Critters.

I don't know. Being absent, might be an improvement.

But if she wasn't present there would be hundreds of government buildings (e.g. post offices) without names...
The real reason she runs unopposed most years in the primary is that unlike her predecessor she does vote for pro-Houston funding (e.g. NASA). Her predecessor voted against some as well as missed votes while he was out doing God knows what with God knows who.

She was escorted onboard before everybody else, took a prime seat away from a tax-paying passenger, the carrier lies on her behalf, and yet this imbecile claims racism.

jbourneidentitySo how did old Sheila react? She played the leftist tried and true bait and switch race card. Accused the woman who lost her seat of racism, though the woman made her complaint BEFORE she ever saw old Sheila. Sheila never even offered to make this right, surrender her seat, or offer any sort of kind gesture because she's an entitled politician.
There is most certainly a racist here, but it isn't the woman who lost her seat.

downtownvI'm sure this was just a simple misunderstanding....
Ms Jackson-Lee has a habit of doing this near every flight.

I think you missed a few keystrokes.

It makes me a little more displeased that the liberal media lets her get away with the extreme hipocracy.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

justjoeThis is from an article in The Daily Caller:
"According to accounts from former staffers, Jackson-Lee would berate staffers, calling them names like “You Stupid Motherf***er.”
She was physically abusive, throwing cell phones at staff and demanding unsafe driving while being chauffeured, which resulted in at least one car accident. She would demand staffers go to the market and buy garlic supplements for her at 2AM and would be furious with them if her demands were not met.
Dozens of tales of mental and physical abuse of those around her have been reported and corroborated.
“You don’t understand. I am a queen, and I demand to be treated like a queen,” she once told a member of her staff."
http://dailycaller.com/2017/12...g-an-entitled-queen/I think we should demand that she change her name. I am personally triggered when I see two of the most prominent names of the Confederacy-- Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee-- linked with a hyphen! She might as well just go around wrapped in the Stars and Bars!

mbinkyWho can put in an ethics complaint to the House? Didn't someone do it anonymously to Nunes to stop him from investigating the dems? Can anyone do it or do you have to be a member of congress?
If you have to be a congress critter we need to start writing our reps calling for an investigation into this dipshit.
