Okay IT gurus...here's the challenge:

I rebooted my router this morning by unplugging it for several minutes and then plugging it back in. Since I did that, the WiFi calling and texting feature on my iPhone 6s stopped working. I didn't change a damned thing on my phone and have it in Airplane Mode like I've had it for the past year. Now when I try to send a text, a box pops up stating "Turn off Airplane Mode or Use Wi-Fi to Send and Receive Messages (yeah...no shit...that's what I've been doing). Likewise, when I try to make a Wi-Fi call in Airplane Mode, I get a pop-up box stating "No Network Connection Connect to a Wi-Fi Network or disable airplane mode to place a call". That's BS!!! I've only been doing this with great success for the past year! How would rebooting my router screw this up????????

Anyone with a cogent thought, please contribute...thanks!!

Silly question, did you reconnect(your phone) to the router after you rebooted it?

If your Internet is now working (lan+wifi) then I would see if your phone needs rebooted or reset too or just call the so called geniuses at Apple.

Have you gone to Settings -> WiFi to confirm the phone is actually connected to your WiFi network?

I'm curios: Why are you operating your phone this way and why did you unplug your router for several minutes?

I use Wi-Fi calling because the cellular service in my house sucks pond scum...1 bar at best 99% of the time. And I rebooted my router because I was having printer problems earlier this morning.

And in true fashion, as soon as you post the problem looking for remedies, the issue seems to "resolve itself". Everything is now working normally.

It's like taking our car to the shop with a noise and as soon as you pull into the lot, the noise stops. Things that just drive you nuts..... Razz

I use wifi for all iPhone operations when I am at home or hangar office. My service is transaction-sensitive, i.e. the more cellular bandwidth I use for calls, texts, and data, the more I pay. My internet connections at home and hangar, on the other hand, are flat rate, so I save $$$ by using the phone over WiFi.

Sometimes you connect to the wifi signal of your router but do not get validated to access the internet.
Should check that your phone has gotten a valid IP and that your browser is able to navigate freely.
On your router, you should be able to see the active connections /clients. Either looking at your DHCP clients list or somewhere else if you have set reserved IPs for certain home devices.
Usually I reserve IPs for my household thingies and leave the DHCP for guest devices. Easiest way to find intruders.

Also check which bands are enabled for Wifi, maybe you couldn't connect at n speed and that left you out if the router has disables b and g. Tried doing this recently but my printers failed to connect at a higher speed and the rest of my computers started acting stupid, had to return to lower speeds enabled
