Bella is about 30 pounds right now. Turned 4 months old on the 15th. I think she’s gonna be closer to 65-70 pounds which is large for a female. Jelly doesn’t care for her still but that’s an ACD for ya. She loves the family and can’t leave me alone when I come home until I pet her for about 10 minutes. She still has hypodermic needles for teeth so I can’t wait for that to be over so my hands and arms don’t bleed when we play. All in all she’s doing really well. Non stop energy and chews an ANY item that is within reach.

This is her favorite spot, not counting hovering over a food bowl.



17Feb:
Jelly still doesn’t like her but tolerates her more. I think once she grows a bit and Jel can play with her they’ll be closer. She’s been putting on some good weight since we got her.

Unlike ACDs, she is a lot closer with the family members than Jelly. Jel only cares about me, as is usual with her breed. The lab likes everyone, especially the youngest.

We've had two chocolate lab pups.

They each grew into wonderful members of the family.

Labs are great dogs, but they like to chew. Mine especially liked boat trailer wiring harness. Ultimately had to protect it with flex conduit.
