RightwireNeighbor Had A Bad Grill Grease Fire Over The Weekend
Grill grease fires aren't half as fun as getting the calls for people who ran out of lighter fluid and decided to use gasoline instead.
They're more entertaining if it's raining and they do this under an over hang or in the garage.
quote:
"By 2025, many (if not all) carriers will require that prohibitions be in place as part of the governing documents on the use of gas grills or similar devices
It wouldn't surprise me if by 2030 insurance companies demand prohibitions such that if the homeowner wasn't sitting in a chair with their hands in their lap doing nothing, no claim will be paid.

TBHBuddy of mine was cooking chicken and had a grease fire. The grease dripped onto the gas hose and burned through. The hose became a torch and he had walked away. Burned half his house down.
Sad day.

1s1kMost Weber grills have a pan that is at the bottom of the grill that you pulls out on a slide and it catches all the greese. Very easy to clean.
