PASigDoes Anyone Here Have A Snapper Hi-Vac Lawn Vac/Mower?
Does anyone have Snapper Hi-Vac?
In my never-ending war with this hickory tree of my neighbor that hangs over my yard and is now dropping nuts by the dozens of pounds, I’m wondering if one of those would help me?
I have this rolling basket on a pole that gets them up quite easily when they are a few here and now, but now it’s fall and they are steadily dropping by the hundreds and often spilt into 5 pieces when they fall; the nut and 4 husk pieces and the nut roller has trouble picking them up.
What would happen if I just gave up and let the damn things fall and lay there? They do seem to decompose in time, I’m just wondering if they will kill the grass in that whole area?

Very doubtful. Except fot the 1000 mile separation, you could borrow mine. Get some squirrels.

That’s literally the thing I was referring to in my OP, but it’s not working for when they fall and split into pieces, whole it picks them up just fine.

41If the pieces are that small, I would just use a shop vacuum or rake them onto a tarp.
