Sounds horrible, thank goodness for great medical care! I hope you're back to normal soon.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Thanks for all the warm wishes. Truly appreciated!

The only significant upside to this "episode" is that I've lost 22 pounds. Hope to increase my activity level and reduce portion sizes to keep it off. Big Grin

Also fell in "love" with recliners again having retreated to one in lieu of the "smart" bed in the isolation ward. Always kicked myself for not acquiring solid reclining theater seats for my home theater setup. Have a high back love seat with ottomans instead. Frown
I don't need an upscale unit here like those from Flexsteel and others. Was attracted to the Dutailier wooden glider chairs but sadly they've gone out of business this summer.
Again, I was not looking to spend megabucks, just something that I could REALLY relax in. Threw caution to the wind and ordered this:

Nope. Not a recliner but a reclined glider that should sooth my soul. We'll see Smile

For my post discharge care I've been prescribed sodium chloride 3% nebulizer solution (and a home compression nebulizer) which was found to be quite beneficial while in the isolation ward. Using it with both a Smith's Portex and Incentive Spirometer manual devices.

Very glad that you are recovering well.
I have acid reflux, so I know the value of a good recliner, having said that, I recently bought an adjustable bed, it's nice not to have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the family room.

When I had the GERDs I lost about 20 lbs. Interestingly, that's what got me off my small Rx of blood pressure meds.
Glad you're making a comeback.

Sounds like you had a pretty rough time, bald1. Glad you're feeling better. A year from now I expect an update where you're in the best shape of your life. Smile
