Never been to Europe huh? Nearly all Northern Europeans speak English and a good chunk of Southern Europeans do to. How else would a Norwegian, a Belgian and a Greek be able to talk to each other...English.

Yup. I worked in Barcelona for a year and a half. As the annual three-week shutdown approached, my Spanish co-workers suggested that my wife and I go to Greece for vacation; they said beautiful place and very affordable. I asked how I would communicate if we went to Greece. They said, "Same as we do. Speak English." הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Wait, what? |
One word, and already mentioned here- anarchists. Mow them down where they appear and start burning cars and businesses in "protest". Give them exactly the destruction they crave. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

I wonder how many of these anti-capitalism protesters lived in the former East Germany or any of the Soviet Bloc countries. ------------------------------------------------ "It's hard to imagine a more stupid or dangerous way of making decisions, than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." Why the heck would a European protest Trump? Lefties cannot even articulate what they have against Trump in the US, and he has far less impact on those in Europe. The best I can get from the pink pussy crowd is he's vulgar and he tweets. Well, burn down Hollywood then!

Never miss an opportunity to STFU |
^^^ Just for the record I was a resident of Greece, Belgium, and Peru. Every time there was a protest or "march", the signs and placards were in the local language. These signs at G20 were specifically made for international consumption since they knew the press would be there in droves. So evidently I have never been to a foreign country. Sheesh. Spunk, that tactic will probably be the only thing that works. The current events are just like the good old days. The protesters continue to escalate their tactics until the "establishment" gets fed up and the excrement hits the fan. I'm surprised nothing severe has intruded on their good time. As soon as risk is introduced, they will go hide in the basement and whine via "underground" newspapers. Of course there is a segment of these low life's that are either paid to instigate, or go along because they have absolutely nothing to lose, and don't really care about their lives or the future (because they have none). I'm waiting for the turning point. Never be more than one step away from your sword-Old Greek Wisdom

Its my guess that a good portion of them are there to get laid. I'm sure its a better reason than anything the press decides. Unhappy ammo seeker

Step by step walk the thousand mile road |
Over 130 of the 20,000 strong police present were injured yesterday, 12 so badly they cannot return to duty today, and the violence today is ratcheting up. The violent anarchists and commies are calling it the “Welcome to Hell” protest. I saw footage on Al Jazeera English this morning of a dozen or so privately-owned cars on fire in one residential area. If ever there was a perfect time for an Islamofascist terrorist to strike, this would be it. The protestors would go insane blaming the cops, the cops would have to go in to rescue the injured and dead, etc. while fending off the anarchists and commies, while the media would go right over the edge screaming "Trump's fault." It would deteriorate the G20 into a made scramble to the private jets that brought everyone there. Nice is overrated "It's every freedom-loving individual's duty to lie to the government." Yup. The libtard media was trying their best to make it look like the protestor idiots showed up just for President Trump. One libtard media outlet even ran a clip of some idiot saying Trump wasn't welcome in the country. Guess the other 19 leaders were all welcome. __Phase plasma rifle in the 40-watt range__

Not exactly. Tariffs, when implemented correctly, balance the economic playing field. For example: Country A can grow wheat in abundance, more than it can consume. As s result, wheat is plentiful and inexpensive. Country B also grows wheat but; not enough can be grown to create a surplus and, wheat is the local economy. As a result, wheat supplies are tight enough to keep prices much higher than Country A. Allowing Country A to import wheat tariff-free would likely collapse Country B' economy. Applying a tariff to keep imported wheat prices competitive with domestically produced wheat, is the best option. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
