It is totally not clear to me what the protests are against. The GDC media here suggest that it against Trump (big surprise), but no depth of real analysis.

In my entire life, I cannot remember a G8 or G20 that has not been protested. Doesn't matter who the US president is, how the world economy is, the number of wars, location of the summit, etc as there will always be unhappy miscreants with nothing better to do.
