The first time I was rear-ended I was sitting at a stop light on a side street with no other traffic in sight. The driver came around a curve in the road and didn't see me until she was nearly up my ass. She hit the brakes and slammed into me.
The second time was at a right turn. Driver thought I turned but she was looking left and went ahead, not noticing that I was still there.
This was the first time I have been hit on the freeway in stop-N-go traffic. I always give at least 3 seconds of distance to allow for reaction time. I must have stopped with good distance since she hit me and I didn't hit the car in front of me after the jolt.

sigalertThat sucks. I have no advice, I wish you the best.
I'd enjoy hearing about the resolution when it's in your best interest to share it.
