Looking at the photos you posted again I'm thinking that the Batman watch does have a screw down back, you could either go to Harbor Freight Tools and purchase a watch wrench or use a small pair of scissors or needle nose pliers to grip the notches on the case to unscrew the back.

OK, I got the batman watch opened. I had to make a notch in the cover to make a place for the knife to pop it open. I'll try that with the others but I only had 1 battery left.

I have 7 old watches, including a few Casios, that had dead batteries that I had never bothered with. so I purchased this kit and watched a few videos and found it hella fun getting these old watches up and running.

I greatly appreciate that. You've already done so much for my family. I'm going to dig into these last two first and if I can't bulldog the backs off, I'll send you an email. Smile

If you look at around the 1 or 2 o' clock area of the case back their should be a notch/thin cut out for your tool.

Normally their would be a raised square flap to guide you but these are cheap watches. Then get a small jewelers flat head screw driver and tap it in with a hammer and it should pop the back off. If the screw driver doesn't work if you have a razor blade at the 3 o'clock should do it.

Battery size in all 3 watches should be a 626SW or 377 you can get a pack of cheap chinese ones off Amazon for dirt cheap wouldn't use them in a regular or nicer watch. Then press the case back back on by hand since the tolerances are not to precise to require a watch press.

I do this for a living if you have any trouble let me know.

OK, I had to make my own ridge in the side of the remaining watches and it still took a good bit of swearing and prying to get the backs off but I did it. Finally.

Thanks for all the tips.

Oh, they were all 377 batteries.

Thinking that Batman and Captain America are threaded to the case. Superman could be a press in...

Just read that you got them open and fixed. That makes you Superdad. Big Grin

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

If not in use pull the stem out to stop the watch and save the battery.

Surprisingly, Interstate Battery store here does it. For less than 1/2 the cost than the local Batteries Plus.
