This is truck perfection…my friends it does not get any better than this.

one of those fenders probably weighs more then most cars these days Big Grin

I have seen these in the wild about only 5 times on the road, and everyone of them was blue. Big Grin Still, I was in awe seeing and hearing them in motion.

I wonder how often those people driving and riding them singed their legs touching that hot exhaust when they step out. Eek

Seems like a diamond mesh grill would be good idea to protect that radiator, and would look sharp as well.

^^^^ one of my neighbors has one exactly like that. I only see it out in the wild on exceptionally beautiful days like today. Cool

It’s probably similar to my motorcycle’s dual exhaust. Once you burn your leg on it once you quickly learn not to do that again.

Even talking about the actual original Cobras and not the modern repros, there were a bunch of variations ranging from sporty street car to pretty pure track car.

Some of them don’t have the side exhausts.

I did burn the shit out of my leg on the muffler of a Honda CT90 trail bike. Once. I’d swapped out the rusted out old exhaust/muffler for a replacement. The original heat shield didn’t fit the new muffler and I hadn’t gotten a replacement yet. I was riding private dirt roads at low speeds wearing shorts. Ouch.

We had a car show in Saddlebrooke, AZ that included a bunch of new Corvettes, a couple of Lamborghinis, a Farrari, a Bentley convertible, a couple of 442s, a Cobra and a lot of other interesting pieces. Fun morning.

C2 Corvette is one of my favorites. I also like the looks of the C3 convertibles:

This thing fell out of an ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down and landed in a pile of cow shit. (Toyota CH-R)

Depending on the viewing angle, the classic vehicles almost everyone likes are often shaped like pin-up girls.

Modern cars remind me more of weapons.

Both catch my eye, *Shrug*.

my grandparents had that car, in that color, only a 4 door,

had the Sears installed AC under the dash,

302 automatic, you had to wait till the cold light went of, or it would stall if you tried to drive it

I had this ‘68 in the same color with a black vinyl top. It was an LTD and was my first experience with radial tires. It also had the under-dash A/C. I bought it when I was single and waxed it about once a week. Later, my wife wrecked it twice and I sold it in the mid-80’s for next to nothing. It was a good ride.
