snideraFriends- I just spent a few days at the Hospital, had a bad reaction to an anti-seizure medication.......
Glad you recognized it & got it taken care of.
I was on Keppra for about 4 weeks after having a seizure due a brain tumor. After the prednisone wore of, t was a month of the worst hangover ever.

SpeedbirdHoly crap! Close call, glad it worked out in the end. This strikes home with me, I was on Keppra for several years... It was way better than Dilatnin, but still crappy side effects and gave me wicked hang-overs. I had to get my liver functions tested every so often when I was on it. A couple years ago, I found a new Neurologists, got a whole new work up etc. and I am now on Lamotrigine. Much less side effects.

RipleyFWIW Trileptal is was developed to treat epilepsy and has been found to be effective on bipolar. Some seizure drugs seem to cross borders.
