My glasses are trifocal. To date, I have not found any online eyeglass vendor that will supply liked bifocal or trifocal lenses. The only option that I have found online is progressive lenses, which no longer work well for me.

I get my lined trifocal prescription filled at Costco.

Something else that I do: I use trifocals for general, walking around, etc. For desk work I use bifocals, consisting of the intermediate segment of the trifocal (for seeing the computer screen) and the near vision segment for paperwork.

I also use single vision glasses with the near segment only, these are great when I sit and read. These are the only ones that I will order online, I want inexpensive ones, several of them so that I can leave them where I will use them.

I tried online for the first time this past year. I used Zenni and haven’t noticed a yellow tint to the lenses. The 55mm lens glasses I ordered were the same size and fit the same as the 55mm lens glasses I already had, but they looked much larger using the virtual try on function. Also, the online pictures really don’t show all the details of the frames.

I’m not disappointed for what I paid. I bought a pair of glasses and sunglasses for about half the price of my last pair of glasses alone and the quality of the frames as well as the lenses is better.

I’d give Costco a shot if there was one nearby.

Your location shows SWFL. There are Costco locations sprinkled between Naples and Bradenton; does that help?

I can also vouch for Costco on quality and price, it's the only place that gets my wife's glasses right

I appreciate the suggestions, but I’ve lived here for over 20 years and there really isn’t a Costco within 45 miles of my house. That’s too far to justify a membership. Sam’s Club is 10
minutes away.

Con: …Ordered glasses with NO lens tint. Received with very noticeable yellow cast. Contacted Zenni customer no-service. They offer replacement at no cost but advised that all of their "no tint" lenses have this anti-glare coating that is yellowish. No point in ordering replacement, it would be the same thing, so opted for a refund. They only refund 50%. Buyer beware.
I just noticed, mine do have yellowish tint. I set them down on a white piece of paper and it’s noticeable.

FYI spoke with the eye rep at my Costco, lined lens are a problem, progressives are not, supply issues are the issue.

If you have your script, try wal-mart, you can get low cost lower quality or higher cost high end lens from Nikon if you want.

Neighbor dumped his Costco/Sams glasses and went Nikon at wal-mart, since he has insurance. Taint cheep though...

I used Marvel Optics for my last pair, and ended up getting full rated safety glasses (so I could shoot in them too) for less than what I normally pay. And great quality.
