konata8820 Year Old Concrete Tile Roof: Should I replace the underlayment?
I have install scheduled for later in Sept. I see pictures on the website with some installs laying cables on the roof while other pics show no cables.
All the installs around here seem clean - no cables on the roof.
Is Tesla going to install the panels such that no cables are on the roof? I hope so. Do I need to request it or is that the default? How to decide what is best?
Also, I'm wondering if it's better to install the inverter inside the garage or outside - either way, next to the electrical panel. I think I'd prefer garage but what's recommended and normal here? (Cleaner; no damage to the new exterior paint and stucco; no theft - will these things become subject to theft as solar gets more popular?).

konata88Need to confirm with the install but will be requesting the inverter by installed in the garage. This should avoid having to breakthrough the exterior wall; except for maybe utility disconnect. Not sure if that's will be separate from the breaker box or not.
