Lets see, besides all the amazing info on guns?

How about great Washers and Dryers.
A disposal that eats everything...
Knowing that others think Trump was a clown but that sometimes a clown is a good thing. Smile
Benchmade makes great knives but I cant forgive them for being asshats so I carry a SOG.
Ozark Holsters are awesome, I only wish Dustin was still making them.
1 magazine is actually 0, 2 mags is actually 1 - so carry the one in the gun and two spares
I still have not bought a Glock...but I came close a couple times.
Para's Eagle is totally cool.
Bad Mayonnaise is actually good... Wink

I was already a well stocked gun trader when I got here. I check in daily, love the humor and the freedom to post non pc material. Good financial advice, good day to day living advice and a membership that will come together for one in need. No other forum like this one. I sometimes feel guilty because I take more than I give.

I like Para's management style - pretty much hands off until someone gets stupid and then the eagle's response ranges from mildly corrective to epic my way or the highway (ban hammer).

I've purchased speed queen washer/dryer thanks to forum. Worksharp knife sharpener, my wardrobe is basically from Sierra trading thanks to a forum tip. I'm a good cook but I've learned to reverse sear and now have a handful of instant read digital thermometers.

When I'm bored I know I can find something of interest on the forum, I'll soon be 71 and am not much on hero worship but I am a Para fan boi. I liked the way he operated the S&W Forum and I hope his labor of love on Sig Forum goes on forever. Much respect for a man that hasn't sold out or relaxed his principles.

Hat Tip Parabellum. Cool

I came here to learn more about Sigs, and I received instead an entire brain trust from which to learn.

I'm up to date with the simple side of current events, but I'm so much more grateful for the in depth knowledge on the complexities of our current lives. I'm better informed, and that is empowering at this unprecedented time in history. Collectively our screen-mates are a tribe to be reckoned with, truly wish we were all in one village as well.

Raise your glass, cheers PARA!

If you have any doubts at all about the value of time spent here, go read a few comments on the Liberal Gunowners Forum. That will set you straight in a NY minute.

I have been entertained, informed, and enlightened by checking in at the forum several times a week.
The Lair has been a great source for recommendations for books, movies and TV. I have checked out several recommendations that I would have missed out on without the forum. Also, the links to news stories I might have missed have been enlightening.

Sigforum was a welcome diversion during a rough time in my life.

Otherwise, it has influenced me to buy more sigs, a couple of 1911s, and recently ARs.

Then there's the watches. And the knives.

And this year, I started straight razor shaving and have bought several straight razors.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

During one of the darkest chapters of my life the fine membership of this forum went above and beyond to help me out. The knowledge, friendship and advice I have received from this forum is something that just doesn’t exist anywhere else on the internet.

When I traveled to the other side of the world on the trip of a lifetime a forum member contacted me and gave me a tour of his breathtakingly beautiful country. It is something I will never forget.

This forum, its moderators and members are truly special. I don’t think a better community exists on the internet.
