Har! Now THAT is thinking outside the box! Some of my most fond memories officiating hockey are mite games. A pod of 10 little tykes chasing a rubber disc around the rink. Hilarious!! "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Halftime at a Dallas Stars game several years ago they had a team of little ones out playing a bit shooting at the goal. The little goalie, decked out in his game gear, fell on his back and he laid their flailing like a turtle almost a minute before a coach came out and gave him a hand. The scene was absolutely hilarious. NRA Life Patron

I love watching the little one's play. With laugh and hockey in the subject line I was afraid it was about the Sabres.

Two firsts in one day for his diary: "1) First time I scored a goal in hockey "2) First time I ever said, "THERE, dammit!" === I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.
