Bummer!!! I just get a new set of wheels and tires and now I have a flat. Checked the odometer and I have put a total of 204 miles on them.

Luckily I have the road hazard from Tire Rack. I guess my day is planned for tomorrow.

That sucks! The most recent set of tires I bought for my truck are lined with Kevlar. They freaking work as I got a metal sheeting screw in one tire within the first week of owning them. Those screws are nasty. I was surprised to see the screw was not completely into the tire. The screw protruded out of the tire by about half of its length. I pulled the screw out and no air leaked. The Kevlar prevented the screw from penetrating the tire despite being driven on until I noticed it. I was impressed.

I had about a 3" deck screw in the rear tire on a motorcycle. Heard a pop, then come the repetitive clicking/snapping. Was in the center of the tire and luckily just short enough to miss the rim.
Tire was about shot, so I plugged it and stayed close to home until I got it replaced.

New tires on the car and in less than 10 miles had what was left of a tie rod bolt/nuckle rammed in one. Tire place patched it and never had a problem with it.

Tires can usually take a beating, unless they get cut/slashed.

I once had a new tire ONE DAY, pulled up to a curb and the edge of a storm drain stuck out pretty far. The corner tore a three inch gash in the side wall. Barely over 24 hours old, trashed. Frown

The new windshield that lasted a week hurt my wallet more.

My wife and I were planning a road trip today in this car (it's my garage queen weekend car). Now I have to find a shop that can do a tire repair and road force balancing. Most of what I found either are not open on weekends or close early. This may wait till Monday...crap!
