Men are children with one track minds...or at least so says my wife.
This past weekend our local library hosted an inflatable planetarium, and my wife thought it would be fun to take the kids, so she signed us all up. When we arrived at the community center, and entered the gym, this is what I saw. My wife immediately started giving me the stink eye. I kept it together until another dad showed up with his family, started laughing and took a picture. Then some dude came out of the thing....which he did by travelling down the "tube" and parting it down the middle at the front, emerging into the room like a giant humanoid kidney stone.

I completely lost it...there were tears running down my cheeks and I was laughing so hard I was shaking, all the while trying not to make a scene. My wife was not impressed. But come on, how would you describe it? Big Grin

Describe it? I'd have a hard time getting ANY words out at all. Especially while wiping the tears from my eyes, and holding the cramp in my side from laughing so hard, all the while trying to catch my breath! Big Grin

Excellent, pertinent question. I was laughing too hard to think of it.

Actually pretty superficial and underwhelming. The presentation at the local science center where we have an annual membership is better. He didn't go into much detail and most of the imagery didn't even take advantage of the dome...a regular screen and a standard projector would have done the presentation justice and would have been logistically simpler and easier on the neck.

Thankfully it was free...if we had paid I'd have felt like we got dicked over Big Grin.

Ok, so I totally missed that until you pointed it out. I was too preoccupied with the shape, lol. Now I'm over here crying again Big Grin. The owners of this thing could double their return on investment by renting it out to their local urologist on the days that they're not using it...they wouldn't even have to change the sign!

You'd think they would straighten it out a bit.
