Looking for feedback.
1. Do they work? Never tried them before.
2.Any one brand better than the others?
Amazon has quite the selection and knowing nothing about them, it's a crapshoot.

Mom has an apt that has a bug problem. I'm wanting to make her neighbors apts more inviting than hers.
(without even MORE spraying by the management)
Thanks.

My father-in-law bought us a couple, and they have both been plugged in by the entry doors ever since. I don’t know which ones you are referring to, but the brand I see on front is Riddex. Also, I can’t tell you if they work or not.

Don’t know about bug repellers but the electronic ultrasonic rodent repellers don’t seem to work. I was touring a luxurious double-wide on a friend’s family ranch and every room had a couple of those things (of various brands) plugged into outlets, and the house was infested with mice. The odd thing was that there wasn’t anything there for them to eat. The family doesn’t leave anything other than canned food in the house and they make an effort to keep everything clean in the kitchen. Where even the drawers had mice in them.

It was creepy. And it stunk.

If they don’t work on rodents I would be surprised if they work on bugs. She needs to move to someplace that doesn’t have common walls with people who leave dirty dishes in the sink.

Thanks for the feedback.

I don't know anyone who has used one so I think I may keep my money in my pocket till more research is done.

I read somewhere that the bug zapper kind do kill bugs but mosquitoes are not attracted to the light so it kills lots of beneficial insect.

I don't think they work but I'm afraid to unplug them and find out they're actually keeping hordes of spiders away.
