There are several issues at work here, and many US citizens are confused. When Hamas invaded Israel, that was an act of war. Acts of war are not governed by civil law, they are responded to militarily. Under some circumstances, in a military situation, the immediate use of deadly force one on one may be appropriate. The situation described above is still within the bounds of civil law. While we may ASSUME they were training children Muslim terrorists, we don't know that and it makes no difference. At this point in time, we are not at war and civil law must prevail. That may change in the future, we will see. It is difficult, however, after viewing some of the video of the Hamas invasion, to not be angry. I certainly understand the desire for revenge, especially among Jews. I have to fight the feelings constantly. It does no one any good. | |||
