So back in January the family and I moved up here to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Bought a place in Chesterfield by Pocahontas State Park. I can shoot .22’s in the back but I don’t feel comfortable shooting anything larger. I hear folks shooting all around us. I can’t find any local outdoor clubs or ranges. Anybody nearby who needs a shooting buddy that has some property for the occasional blasting session let me know? I’d like to meet some local members and exercise my trigger finger. Preemptive thanks, Austin. ----------------------------------------------- What's the sense in working hard if you never get to play?

There are only two. Black Creek. Cavalier Rifle & Pistol. Look up Black Creek Steel on Facebook. Get on the mailing list for the steel matches. Once a month, $25. Cavalier is membership-capped and "sold out." ------- Trying to simplify my life...

There is an indoor range on Midlothian Tnpk behind Southern Gun World but that doesn't help you now because Governor Northam-Bloomberg has closed all indoor ranges. Dry cleaners and liquor stores are open because they are essential.
