And China smiles

"Ministers from the Group of Seven nations have agreed to shut down all their coal plants by 2035 at the latest, a UK minister said on Monday, in a climate policy breakthrough that could influence other countries to do the same."

Yes, we must do what's necessary to get off of Russian energy, and turn around and do everything that prevents just that.

I attended an energy conference last October where an international analyst mentioned how proud Germany was to get of of nuke and rely on Russian gas for it's power and heating......then Ukraine happened and now Germany is using previously mothballed coal plants for power!

Ha ha.

And where is the G7's commitment to build nukes in China to deter them from coal?

No problem. Wind and solar will provide all the energy we could ever need.

The G7 are globalists, they will give you the scalpel to perform your own surgery. Many would be happy to try it

Ha ha.

And wood stoves.
Civilization is not advancing. It's retreating.
They are not progressives... they are regressives.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

United States electric consumers shelled out billions to clean up coal powered stations. Then the game changes so consumers can shell out billions more.
