Maybe early, but Fox called Cruz the winner in TX. I'm thinking Jim's relieved. (I really miss him, especially tonight)
They're saying the Senate is safe.

Where are you seeing 98%? Fox News is reporting 93/94%
Real clear politics has Florida reporting in at 98.33 percent.

Well, his opponent was a real crappy candidate. Even I liked Manchin more than him, though I still would've voted "R" regardless.

Looks like the state constitutional amendment to automatically restore voting rights to felons has passed. So far DeSantis is ahead of Gillum by about 80,000 votes. This amendment creates up to 1 million new voters. The next election will be interesting.

trapper18990% of the precincts that have yet to report in Florida are in solid blue counties. It's going to be extremely close.
The voting felons amendment will pass, so 1.6 million more voters. That'll probably tip the scales the wrong way.

Modern Day SavageI'm not a fan of making voting "easy", especially same-day registration and allowing those who claim an intent to reside in an area the ability to vote...I'm really not even in favor of mail-in ballots and early voting...but my ballot was dropped in the box this evening.

c1steveControl of the house does not looks so good:
https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/house/Democrats have a net gain of 14 seats and need nine more to win the majority.
