P250UA5Last day of early voting here.
Parking lot was packed & the line was about 20 people outside the front door (another 50 or so inside).
Through the line & showing ID in about 5 minutes.
Straight ticket (lots of uncontested R candidates on the list).
Double-checked & out the door in about 8 minutes total.
Worked out that I was working from home today (burst water pipe in the office has us closed)

Did early voting today, a retired LEO pal was working at the remote site. Iowa no longer has a straight ticket block, I had to fill in a few circles. Iowa does require ID, how racist.

p226gsdAlso voted yesterday, all Republican, except for the county sheriff. He gave me my North Carolina pistol permit permission slips, and he was running unopposed.
