rbert0005All our food is ‘genetically modified’ in some way – where do you draw the line?
I am not worried about genetically modified when it's on the way in because it will certainly be genetically modified when it's on it's way out.
Sorry, I have other thing to think about.

mcrimmFor about 20 years I financed farmers and ranchers in Montana. I witnessed the production changes that occurred during those times. Things like drought resistant grains, yield increases on dry land grain production and calf weights.
I have also seen an increase in some people’s inability to eat these grains. I have a DIL who gets very sick from gluten here, but can eat wheat bread in other countries that grow heritage varieties of wheat.

Every bite of food that people eat is GMO. Get over it!!
Dude, you have NO idea what you're talking about! Those two statements are grossly inaccurate, and could not be further from the truth!

I have no problem eating the former, I’ll take some steps to avoid the latter.
Not really much difference. Farmers are tweaking the genome but only with different tools.
